In Sitapur, the in -laws burnt their daughter -in -law alive for dowry. Due to which his body is burnt up to 60 percent. All the 6 accused escaped from the spot after carrying out the incident. According to the information, the husband and his family were pressurizing the woman to bring three lakh rupees from their house. He was constantly being tortured after refusing. The maternal uncle has brought the victim to Lucknow for treatment. The police is investigating the case. A few days after the wedding, the demand incident of money was from Sandana police station area. Ramkumar Bajpai, a resident of Maholi Kotwali area, married his daughter Aarti (24) on 13 February 2019 to Arpit, son of Jayakumar, a resident of Sandana. Arpit his father used to continue to fight with his 3 brothers and Nand continuously with Aarti. On Friday morning, there was a quarrel and scuffle in the house. So the locals reported this to Aarti's father. Father was about to come to take Aarti with him. At 7 pm, neighbors heard Aarti's screams. Those people reached the spot. So saw that Aarti has been burnt. She is suffering on the ground in critical condition. They informed his father about the case. Who rushed home in a hurry. All went to CHC first with Aarti. Seeing his serious condition, the doctors there referred him to Lucknow. Ramkumar Bajpai had also given donations according to his strength in 3 lakh rupees to take the plot. The father alleges that a few days after the wedding, the son -in -law and his family were making additional demand of Rs 3 lakh to take a plot from the daughter. Used to beat while beating. One day those people tried to kill the daughter. So he bid farewell to Aarti and filed a case on 1 February 2020 in Maholi Kotwali in other sections including dowry harassment. Then after the opinion of the local people and the elders, they once again sent it away. But even after that, the attitude there did not change.
