This entire theft incident was captured in CCTV cameras installed in 2 shops. After about 15 minutes, the shopkeeper came to know about the theft of clothes, then he saw footage of CCTV cameras. In the footage, 3 women were seen stealing clothes.

On the other hand, a plastic katta was found near the drain near the senior secondary school at around 10.30 am on Monday morning, in which stolen clothes were kept from the shops. Police reached the spot on information and took them to the police station. Head Constable Pradhan Meena of Sop police station said that 2 shopkeepers have returned their clothes. He said that due to fear of being caught, the women left the bag full of these clothes on top of the drain.
