Telangana: In Hyderabad, CM K Chandrashekhar Rao has inaugurated the Telangana State Police Integrated Command and Control Center today. Its special thing is that wood has not been used anywhere in this entire building.

New Delhi: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (CM KCR) inaugurated the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate and Control Center today on Thursday. A total cost of Rs 600 crore has been paid to make it. It also has one helipad, one disaster and crisis management center, a data center and a war room connected to millions of monitoring cameras. Telangana State Police Integrated Command and Control Center (TSPICCC) is about 83.5 meters long and 6.42 lakh square feet. In addition to the 480 -seat auditorium, parking of 600 four -wheelers has also been provided. There are facilities such as solar panels and STPs along the outer wall of the glass. This center has been built on road number 12 of Banjara Hills.

This project started during the time of Director General of Police (DG) Anurag Sharma. At that time the current DGP M Mahendra Reddy was the Police Commissioner. The 20 -storey Tower A will have Hyderabad Police Commissionerate and all its workspaces. The office of the commissioner will be on the 18th floor in Tower A. Tower B is a technology fusion center that will be on the 15th floor. It will include dial 100 emergency response, women safety, cyber crime, narcotics cell, crime detection and all the related backup centers. D is designed for media and training centers. There is a multi-agency integrated command control center on the fourth, fifth and sixth floors in Tower E. And will adjust various departments of the state government for better coordination. It will have CCTV monitoring facilities, a war room as well as a receiving room. Different rooms are built in the tower for the State Home Minister, State Police Chief and other top officials. There is also a war room on the seventh floor, from where CM can oversee disaster relief or emergency works.

According to officials, this tower will reduce energy consumption by 50 percent. The construction has not only used recycled materials and any wood. For power facilities, solar panels have been installed which will produce 0.5 MW and a sewerage treatment plant on the site itself. About 35 percent of the land areas are for greenery and other facilities such as gym, and health and well -being centers. Till now, the media is not allowed to go to the Telangana State Police Integrated Command and Control Center, but there is a plan to open it to the public.
