Tejas stood for four hours, AC also remained closed: more than 20 trains were parked from Lucknow to Kanpur due to breaking high -tension line

Corporate train coming from Delhi to Lucknow stood in Amausi for about four hours on Friday night. Its AC also remained closed due to which the passengers kept calling railway officials. The overhead electrical line (OHE) was broken on Friday night at Amausi railway station in Kanpur-Lucknow railway block. Due to this, the operation of more than 20 trains came to a standstill. Along with passenger trains, half a dozen freight trains were also standing there. Due to this, passengers also created a ruckus due to the closure of AC in Tejas Express coming from New Delhi to Lucknow. Passengers were in bad condition due to trains being parked for about four hours after the high -tension line broke. Thousands of passengers were stranded in trains. The Tejas train was brought to Lucknow with a diesel engine at around 1:15 pm. Tejas stopped the rest of the vehicles coming from Rastadilli to Lucknow, the Tejas Express was stopped around 9:30 pm on Friday night. Many trains coming behind this got stuck due to lack of track. Trains coming from Moradabad route also had a major impact. Half a dozen freight trains including Gorakhpur Nath Express, Shramjeevi Express, Gomti Express, Amrapali Superfast, Pushpak Superfast, Sampark Kranti Express also stopped.
