Students of Devi Ahilya University of Indore have been nominated for the Short film Oscar Award. Short film 'Mela' is a Children's drama genre film. Its English title is 'Carnival'. The short film has been screened at 25 different film festivals in the country and abroad. The world's biggest award, the nominated film 'Mela' for the Oscar student section has been made by Pranjal Joshi and Aniket Trivedi, EMRC students of DAVV. The Academy Awards (Oscar) has selected short films from all over Asia across all categories animations, documentaries, and Native category. 'Mela' will be displayed under the International Native category. The film is being appreciated by the film in all countries including France, Italy, Greece, Spain, America and England. The film has also won the award at a France's festival. The story of the film is going through the struggle of his everyday life. There is a fair in the city. The film stars Yash Kanre, Aditya Cholakar and Vansh Gandhi in the lead roles.
