Sri Lanka lead by 333 runs in the first Test of the ICC World Test Championship and bilateral series against Pakistan at the Galle International Stadium. However, when Pakistan bats in the second innings, it will be necessary for the Sri Lankan bowlers, especially the spinners, to control their strong batsmen as they did in the first innings. Dhananjaya de Silva got 20 runs, Ramesh Mendis got 22 runs and Mahesh Dikshana got 22 runs. In Pakistan bowling, Mohammad Nawaz got 5 wickets for 88 runs and Yasir Shah got 3 wickets for 122 runs. In the first innings of this match, Pakistan got 222 runs and 218 runs. .
