Sleeping Rib syndrome treated for the first time in DB: Medical college team successfully performed success in 5 hours

The facilities of the Government DB Hospital affiliated to Churu Medical College are now expanding. Where earlier patients with minor diseases were referred to the hospital. But now complex operations are also happening in the hospital. On Thursday, 75 -year -old Amar Singh, resident of Hisar in the hospital, had a successful operation of Sleeping Rib syndrome, which took about 5 hours. Dr. Gajendra Saxena, acting principal and surgery of the medical college, said that about 15 days ago, the patient Amar Singh Churu Came to show in the hospital. He told that he fell 10 years ago. For the last one year, there has been pain in the Pancles, the stomach and back. For this, he showed many doctors in Sikar, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Hisar, which brought relief for a short time. After this the pain started becoming unbearable. For the last one month, there was also difficulty in getting up, sitting, sleeping and breathing. The patient was called to the hospital on July 26, in which the CT scan was revealed that his sleeping was called Rib Syndrome. His treatment is only operation. So a team was formed. The operation went on for about 5 hours from 10 am to 3 pm on 28 July. The team was formed under the leadership of Dr. Saxena for the operation. The team consisted of Dr. Bajrang Lal Sharma, Dr. Mangal and Nursing Staff Prabhu Singh. At the same time, Operation Theater Incharge and Annthtic HOD Dr. Deepak Chaudhary and Dr. Sangeeta Royal were also included in the team. After a long time of five hours, the patient underwent successful operation, after which the patient has been shifted to the Surgical ICU.
