RDX found in Kurukshetra before Independence Day, not a connection with Pakistan?

Kurukshetra: STF Ambala team has arrested a person from Punjab in this case. At the time when explosives were recovered, there was a timer in it. The police is preparing to interrogate the accused on remand.

Darshan Kait/Kurukshetra: STF has a big success before August 15. Based on an information, the team of STF Ambala (STF Ambala) in Kurukshetra (Kurukshetra) has recovered a timer and detonator in addition to about one and a half kg RDX.

1.5 RDX was found near Mirchi Hotel on GT Road in Shahabad subdivision on Thursday. There was also a timer with explosives. After receiving the information, the surrounding area was immediately sealed. RDX was recovered on the spot of Shamsher Singh, who was caught by the police.

Shamsher is a resident of Tarn Taran (Punjab). During interrogation, it was found that this explosive was to be raised from someone else, but before that the STF got a clue. Additional Superdant Police of Kurukshetra Karna Goyal said that the accused will be questioned on remand. A case has been registered against the accused Shamsher in Shahabad police station. Later, the bomb disposal squad reached the spot and defused RDX. Police is investigating CCTV footage in the surrounding areas to identify the suspects.

Earlier in May 2022, 4 suspected terrorists of Babbar Khalsa were arrested near Basatada toll plaza in Karnal. The police had recovered RDX and other weapons from Innova. The arrested accused were identified as Gurpreet Singh, Parminder, Amandeep and Bhupendra.

The accused were residents of Ferozepur and Ludhiana in Punjab. The accused were taking RDX from Punjab to Telangana. Punjab's gangster Harvinder Rinda, sitting in Pakistan, transported these explosives and weapons to India from across the border.
