This time the biggest question about Rakshabandhan festival is when to tie Rakhi? 11 or 12 August. When is auspicious time and when is Bhadra? To know the answers to these questions, Dainik Bhaskar spoke to Dr. Geeta Mishra Tripathi, Chairperson and Jyotirvid of Allahabad Chapter- Allahabad Chapter. Tie Rakshabandhan
Dr. Tripathi said that this time Rakshabandhan is becoming good luck. In this yoga, the brother and his family get happiness and prosperity by tying Rakshabandhan. However, this time there is also Bhadra on 11 August. According to Hrishikesh Panchag- Bhadra is on August 11 till 8:25 pm. Rakshabandhan should not be done in Bhadra. So on August 11, after 8.25 pm at night, Rakshabandhan on the wrist of the brothers.
Some astrologers say that Bhadra (being in Capricorn) will remain in Hades. On this, it is said that on the full moon day of Shravan month, the moon always transits in Capricorn (in Shravan Nakshatra). Has prohibited.
Therefore Bhadra's habitat in Rakshabandhan and Holika-Dahan is not worth considering. It has also been said that-
Bhadrayan dvaye katyas Shravani Phalguni and. Rakshabandhan
This means that Shravani i.e. Rakshabandhan and Holika-Dahan should not be done in Bhadra. Dr. Geeta Tripathi said that according to the decision, Rakshabandhan can be done at night after Bhadra. Rakshabandhan should not be done in the Purnima Purnima.
If there is a lunar eclipse on the full moon day, then it should be done only after Bhadra. Therefore, on Thursday, 11 August, do Rakshabandhan after Bhadra (Hrishikesh Panchag 8:25). According to Geeta Tripathi, Rakshabandhan should not be done on Friday, August 12 in the Pratyukt Purnima. According to theology, Rakshabandhan should be performed in Trimuhurta Purnima in the Bhadrahit period. Trimuhurta 6 Ghati means 144 minutes i.e. 2 hours and 24 minutes after sunrise, it is mandatory to remain full moon after sunrise. If this is not the case, there is a law of Rakshabandhan in the full moon one day ago. According to Hrishikesh Panchag, the sunrise will be 5:30 am on August 12 and the full moon date is only till 7:16 am. Thus on August 12, the full moon date is only 106 minutes i.e. 1 hour 46 minutes.
How to worship?
According to Bhragavatacharya Pandit Krishnabhushan Shukla Ji Maharaj, no special worship is required on the day of Rakshabandhan. In this, the expressions of sister and brother are most important. The brother should keep Roli, Chandan Akshat, Dahi, Rakshasutra and something sweet in the plate before tying the rakhi. Also light a lamp of ghee. Raksha Sutra and Pooja Thal should first dedicate it to God. After this, make the brother sit facing east or north. First apply tilak to the brother and then make his mouth sweet. After this, tie the Rakshasutra in the right wrist and perform the aarti. Pray to God for each other's progress, happiness and prosperity.Read more: Minor missing in Lagwali in Kullu: Sister with younger brother had gone to meet her, did not return while returning home, case registered
