Rainfall halted in Shivpuri: Tourists reaching Ramsar site to enjoy weather

There has been a period of rain in Shivpuri for the last 2 days. There has been rain in a few areas across the district. It was being speculated that the rain in the district has caught its rhythm and it will continue to happen now, but it did not happen. According to the Meteorological Department, the district has recorded 400 mm of rain so far. The total average rainfall in the district is 816 mm. Last year, the highest rainfall was recorded 1452 mm. However, the weather of Shivpuri has become pleasant due to good rains so far. Water has started flowing in the springs including river, drains. Shivpuri is a tourism city and during the rainy season, a large number of tourists visit here. Sankhya Sagar (Chand Patha), located in Madhav National Park of Mastishivpuri in the Ramsar site Sankhya Sagar Lake, got the status of Ramsar Site Ramsar Site In Madhya Pradesh, now Bhopal's Bhoj Taal has been able to get this status, but now Sankhya Sagar Lake of Shivpuri has also got this status. Shivpuri on the world stage will also now appear with a different identity. After connecting the Sankhya Sagar Lake to the Ramsar site, there has been an increase in the number of tourists coming here, the tourists are also reaching from abroad including other provinces.
