New rules being made for teacher restoration: Teacher recruitment: 60% on TET-STET marks, 40% weightage to academic

A major change is being made in the restoration process of about twenty five lakh teachers from classes one to 12 in state schools. 60 percent weightage will be available on the results of Beatte, CITAT and STET and 40 percent of educational and training qualifications (postgraduate, DLED and B.Ed.). The new Rules-2022 for teacher appointment is almost ready. This is yet to be approved by the cabinet. It is worth mentioning that in the 2020 Teacher Recruitment Rules, the weightage of TET and STET which was earlier got from 2 to 10 marks was abolished. Vacancy for the restoration of about one lakh teachers in elementary schools will come by the end of August. At the same time, vacancies for 75 to 80 thousand posts in high schools will come in September or October. Recently, there was a continuous marathon meeting on the appointment manual and vacancy case in the Education Department at various levels. Now the new formula of the restoration was done on the basis of educational qualification. A total merit marks will come on the part, 40%of its will be extracted. Final Medhasuchi will be made by adding 60%of the total marks of the beat or seat. Then the final merit list will be made by adding 60% marks of TET's total marks. The final merit list will be made. Saksha will take 40% of the score of 9 and 10 graduation and training by 2. Then, adding 60% of STET marks, both will be added to Medhasuchi.
