Netbandi continued for the third day in Bhadra of Hanumangarh: Curfew continues in Gandhibadi and Chidigandi villages after heating the case

After heating the Gokshi case, the curfew imposed in village Gandhibadi and Chidigandhi of Bhadra tehsil continued for the third day on Friday. Along with this, Netbandi in Bhadra tehsil also continued for the third consecutive day. Police were guarded in the streets of both villages. For the third consecutive day, the administration and police officials camped in these villages. Due to curfew, there was silence in the streets of the village. The police are continuously appealing to the villagers to maintain peace in both villages. On Thursday evening, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Neeraj's Pawan and ADG Crime-e-Ponnuchami also visited the curfew sector and gave necessary guidelines to the officials present. Farmers are exempted from essential services during curfew. Also, check posts have been set up on the border of Haryana. Vehicles coming from other states are being investigated. Many BJP leaders of Bhadra have been under house arrest by the police. On the other hand, anger is being seen among the villagers about the incident. The villagers allege that the police entered the houses and lathi -charged women and children. On the other hand, it is being told that the administration will review the entire matter by holding a high level meeting till Friday evening. After this, a decision will be taken on curfew and net ban. Significantly, on July 11, a case of Gokshi on Eid came to light in the village Chidyagandhi. When the sample was sent to the lab, the FSL report confirmed the Gokshi, on which the villagers protested demanding the arrest of the accused. During this time there was a clash between the police and the protesters. After this, there has been a situation of tension in the area since July 21. The situation became tense during the rally organized by the agitating villagers on Tuesday night when the rally was taken out by the villagers on Wednesday when stone pelting and force was used by the police. Many policemen were injured in stone pelting. A case was registered against 72 people for the attempt of murder and obstructing the state in the Bhirani police station on Wednesday late night at the Bhirani police station. Apart from this, a case was also filed against three people in Bhirani police station for hurting religious sentiments.
