Mines Minister said- action will be taken on illegal mining: Monitoring of mine inspectors soon in Mines and Ghosts Department

Mine inspectors are being appointed soon in 92 seats in the Department of Mines and Ghosts. These officials are being appointed to accelerate the work of the department and to curb illegal miners. The Minister of Mines and Ghosts, Janak Ram, said that the illegal miners will be tightened. Illegal miners have been given strict warnings that strict action will be taken if illegal mining of sand. The police administration's action continues continuously. More than 4.5 thousand FIRs have been registered in 13 districts. Saran has the highest number of 1029 FIRs. A total of 4780 FIRs have been registered in 13 districts of the state. 611 cases have been registered in Rohtas district, 650 in Gaya, 506 in Bhojpur and 260 in Patna. 9475 people involved in illegal mining have been arrested in many districts including Banka, Jehanabad, Nawada, Arwal. The highest number of 2961 people were arrested in Saran. In the initial 6 months in the illegal sand mining case, 97 Poklen, 45 JCB, 149 Hiwa, 9880 tractors, 2139 trucks, 3417 boats were seized. Charge sheets have been filed in 1342 cases till 30 June. Research continues in 3019 cases. In Rohtas district, 2570621 CFT sand seized and 1632265 in Saran, 1725574 in Gaya, 678475 CFT sand has been recovered in Aurangabad.
