The temple priest in Kundwa Chainpur, Motihari was shot dead by bike -riding criminals while resting on Thursday afternoon in the temple premises. Angered by this incident, villagers and shopkeepers of Kundwa Chanpur market automatically closed the shop and protested against the administration, saying that 65 -year -old Suresh Mastan alias Suresh Singh was shot dead by criminals in a sleeping condition in the temple. Kundwa Chainpur market remained completely closed, villagers and shopkeepers said that crime has increased in the police station area.
