Lumpy skin disease is spreading in the cow dynasty in Jaisalmer. More than one thousand animals have died due to illness. Till now the treatment of this disease has not been found. In compulsion, people are sending their cows to a cowshed. Even after this, the process of death of cows has not stopped. In the cowshed, mosquitoes are applying donors to protect cows from fly-mosquito. Sick cows are being kept in a separate enclosure. The cows dying from the illness take the car of the municipal council and dump it to the dumping yard.

Talking about government figures, so far only 200 cow dynasty has been killed in the district. Dr. Umesh Vidhanivar, Senior Veterinarian of Animal Husbandry Department, said that so far 90154 animals have been surveyed, in which 6700 were found to be found ill. Of them, 5792 were treated. Out of that, 5561 were corrected and 200 animals have died. While the situation is the opposite. In the villages of the district, the bodies of animals are lying in the open. In Tulsi Goshala alone, many cows are kept in separate enclosures at this time.
