A case of police negligence has come to light in Lakhimpur Kheri. Where Purushottam Kumar, a resident of Rehua in Isanagar, got the death of his father a double barrel gun. After this, when he reached the Isanagar police station to take a gun, he was given the gun in two pieces. Seeing which his senses flew away and they refused to take the gun. Jagdish Prasad Verma, a resident of Rehua in Isanagar, had submitted his double barrel gun to Isanagar police station in the last panchayat elections. He died accidentally in April 2021. After which Purushottam Kumar, son of Jagdish Verma, appealed to DM Mahendra Bahadur Singh to inherit the license after the death of his father. On which DM named DBBL 12 bore gun Purushottam Kumar on 18 June 2022. When Purushottam Kumar went to take a gun from the police station, he found a gun in two pieces. Due to which he was shocked. In a complaint letter to gundim, damaged by the collapse of the bound, Purushottam Kumar said that he went to the police station on July 21 to take a license gun. The police personnel present there brought their double barrel gun into two pieces and put them in front. On which he refused to take the gun and said that it is not his gun. Which was told that where weapons were deposited. The roof of the building there fell. Due to which the gun was damaged. DM said- Purushottam Kumar has complained to the DM about the cost of repairing the gun found in two pieces due to the careless police personnel. On which DM Mahendra Bahadur Singh has investigated the case and assured to take action against the negligent police personnel. DM and SP could not get a call to SP Sanjeev Suman regarding this matter, then his PRO said that his PRO said that there was no talk to Sahab Can be. At the same time, when an attempt was made to talk to DM DM Mahendra Bahadur Singh regarding this matter, he did not receive the phone.
