Lentils become expensive: price increased by 10 rupees in a month, arhar dal available in 90 is now available for 110 rupees

Prices of pulses have increased in Ayodhya in the last one month. Prices of pulses have increased by 400 to 950 rupees per quintal. Due to this, the price of retail pulses has become expensive by Rs 10 per kg. The prices of standing urad, lentils, gram, peas have also increased. Arhar dal in Parayodhya has increased by Rs 10 per kg between June 29 to July 29. Arhar pulses selling Rs 95 to Rs 100 per kg have started selling for Rs 110. Similarly, the prices of urad, gram, lentils, peas have also increased from five rupees to 10 rupees per kg. Prices of whole gram, peas, urad and lentils have also increased by five rupees per kg. In the third price, the wholesale price of arhar dal has increased by Rs 950 per quintal in one month. Arhar pulses selling Rs 8900 per quintal are being sold at Rs 9850 per quintal. Urad, selling Rs 7000 per quintal, has started selling Rs 7550 per quintal. Moong dal sold for Rs 8450 per quintal has started selling Rs 8750 per quintal. Similarly, the gram sold for Rs 6000 per quintal has reached Rs 6400 per quintal. Prices of other pulses have also increased by Rs 300 to Rs 800 per quintal. Dinesh Gupta, a businessman from Fatehganj Wholesa Mandi, said that the prices of pulses have increased due to increase in GST rates.
