Lanfi skin outbreak in Patan: Stray animals dying daily from disease, rapid infection; Fear in cattle rearers

These days, many animals have died due to the spread of any lanfi skin disease in stray animals in Patan area. In the area's Dabla, Syaloda, Shyampura, Dunga's Nangal Sohanpura, Shimli, Bihar and surrounding villages, the cattlemen are worried about the spread of unknown diseases in animals. The villagers said that the stray cows get blisters on the body of the cows. In a few days, they become wounds. Due to which animals die due to spreading infection. Symptoms of this disease have also been seen in many pets. Lively spreading infections from stray animals to pet animals are frightened. Lanfi skin disease is an infectious disease in animals, causing rapid infection from one animal to another. There have been cases of death of a lot of animals in Ganganagar district in recent times due to this disease. Pashu doctor Dr. Ranjit Mehrahania said that these days, symptoms of Lanfi skin disease are also seen in animals. Animals suffering from unknown disease have been reported in stray animals in village Syaloda and nearby, for which a team of Veterinary (veterinarians) has been sent on the spot.
