The team is blessed with superstars like Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan, Krunal Pandya, Kieron Pollard and others who have been in sublime form in the recent few months and are expected to take it forward in the IPL.
The Mumbai-based franchise will play their first 5 matches in Chennai before travelling to Delhi, Kolkata and Bengaluru for their league stage matches.
Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians claimed their fifth IPL title last year in the UAE and will be looking to do the same in the 14th edition, starting on Friday, to complete a hat trick of triumphs.
Rohit Sharma will once again lead a well-set team that is all-embracing ahead of the new season. Last year they already achieved what they were looking for, to win the IPL in an even year, and will be eyeing another milestone as they look to make it a hat-trick of IPL titles this year.
