A fortnightly newspaper journalist in Udaipur has been arrested by Surajpol police station. The accused was making a video of a private hotel by calling himself a journalist, threatening the hotel owner and making illegal recovery. The accused had asked for 10 thousand rupees. After this, he was asking to take the matter with 2 thousand. Meanwhile, the local journalists who reached the spot got the hotel owner back 2000 rupees and called the police and handed them over to them.

The accused journalist is named Shekhar Mishra. Who hails from Jhadol area. Mishra also kept the identity card of a fortnightly newspaper called Rajasthan Dhadak in his neck. During interrogation, it was revealed that Shekhar Mishra, a resident of Jhadol, came to Udaipur and made a video of a hotel coming in Surajpol police station area and pressured the hotel businessman to pay Rs 10,000. He was repeatedly threatening to print the news for not giving money.

Meanwhile, the hotel owner called the local journalists of his identity and called him on the spot. When local journalists wanted to get information from Shekhar by making illegal recovery on the spot, he accepted the matter of taking 2000, assuming his mistake. Local journalists got the hotel owner back 2000 rupees from him. Also called on the spot and handed him over to the police. The hotel owner has filed a case against Shekhar at Surajpol police station. Here, when it was talked to the management of a fortnightly newspaper, he talked about suspension of Shekhar with immediate effect.
