Jhalawar Municipal Council Chairman Sanjay Shukla suspended: wrong information of land was given in the election affidavit, guilty found in investigation

The Department of Autonomous Governance has suspended Jhalawar Municipal Council Chairman and ward number 40 councilor Sanjay Shukla from the post of member. There were frequent complaints against Shukla since the election. Councilor Sanjay Shukla gave the Election Department wrong information about the land in the affidavit during the election. Some people had complained to the District Election Department. After this, when Subdivision Officer Jhalawar investigated it, Sanjay Shukla was found guilty. In fact, Chairman Sanjay Shukla presented an affidavit during the election. In this, he told that he has 2 bighas of agricultural land, while according to the record, his land is residential. Returning officer Jhalawar had presented its investigation report to the District Election Officer, in which Sanjay Shukla was found guilty. On sending its report to Jaipur, the DLB has issued orders to suspend the Chairman. In view of the possibility of filing a writ in High Court Jodhpur/Jodhpur against the order order, Deputy Director Local Bodies Department, Jodhpur/Jaipur for the Deputy Director for filing Keviot and other action. H has been appointed officer in charge. Also, Additional Advocate General of High Court Jodhpur Sunil Beniwal and Additional Advocate General of High Court Jaipur Anil Mehta have been authorized to advocate.
