T20 cricket is the fastest format of the game and IPL the fastest league. Many former and current greats of the game agree that the T20 league has changed the way cricket is played today.

A debutant like Suryakumar Yadav smashing his first ball in international cricket for a six is a proof of it. IPL is fearless and players part of the league immensely destructive in their approach. Fours and sixes rained even in deserts of UAE.

Chris Gayle scored a 30-ball hundred in 2013, Yusuf Pathan hit it in 37 balls. As many as 63 hundreds have been hit in tournament's 13-years history. While, the tally appears to be impressive, wait for a hundred for some teams have been longer than anticipated. Let's have a look.

Rajasthan Royals: England all-rounder Ben Stokes scored a hundred for the 2008 champions during the IPL 2020. He ended up scoring 107 unbeaten runs in his side's match against Mumbai Indians. Team's former captain Ajinkya Rahane had hit one for the franchise in 2019.

Delhi Capitals: Experienced India opener Shikhar Dhawan scored two hundred for the Capitals in the last edition in UAE. He scored 101* and 106* against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Punjab Kings respectively.

Punjab Kings: Two Karnataka batsmen KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal hit a century each for the Punjab-based franchise in IPL 2020. While Rahul, smashed unbeaten 132 against RCB, while Agarwal slammed 106 versus Rajasthan Royals.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Virat Kohli, the team's captain is the last batsman to score a hundred for the team which is still waiting for its first IPL title. He hit it in 2019 against KKR at Eden Gardens.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Dynamic openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow scored hundreds in their IPL 2019 campaign for the team. They scored 114 and 100* respectively against the same opposition (RCB) and in the same match.

Chennai Super Kings: CSK last won an IPL trophy in 2018 and that is also the year when their last hundred came. Retired all-rounder Shane Watson hit 2 hundreds in the season, while Ambati Rayudu scored one.

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma-led MI are the most successful team in the franchise with 5 titles but the their last batsmen to hit a hundred was in 2014. Team's former opener Lendl Simmons had hit100 unbeaten runs off 61 balls against Punjab Kings.

Kolkata Knight Riders: The wait for a hundred for 2-time champions KKR has been for an eternity now. This may sound shocking but Brendon McCullum, the current team's head coach, is the only batsman to hit a hundred for the franchise. That hundred had come in IPL's first-ever match in 2008 against RCB.
