The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has zeroed on the 6 venues in India where bio-bubbles will be created for the safe conduct of the Indian Premier League 2021.

Each team is set to play at four venues during the league stage. Out of the 56 league matches, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru will host 10 matches each while Ahmedabad and Delhi will host eight matches each.

There will be a total of 11 doubleheaders where six teams will play three-afternoon matches and two teams will play two afternoon matches. The afternoon games are slated for a 3:30 PM start while the evening games will have a 7:30 PM start.

Originally named Karnataka State Cricket Association(KSCA) stadium, the ground was renamed after M Chinnaswamy - the president of the Indian cricket board from 1977 until 1980. The stadium is the home ground of IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore.

With a capacity of 40,000 spectators, the stadium is located in Bangalore, Karnataka and is one of the premier grounds in India. The stadium also played host to Sunil Gavaskar's gem of an innings when India lost to Pakistan in the series decider in 1987.

The cricket pitch at this stadium is seen to be typical - it rarely follows the 'turning track' axiom, which is followed by all other international-level cricket pitches in India.

Here are the fixtures for the matches that will be played at the M Chinnaswamy stadium.
