Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner says that his team have a well-balanced side going into IPL 2021 and said that this is going to give the management ‘some selection headaches which is always good’.

The SRH finished third last season after going down to Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 2. Prior to that, they had defeated the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in the eliminator.

"Our team is pretty balanced and there are going to be some selection headaches which is always good," Warner said in a video posted by SRH on Twitter.

The SRH did not have a lot to do at the IPL 2021 Auctions as they had most of their bases covered.

With their star bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar returning back to form in the recently-concluded limited-overs series against England and T Natarajan doing exceedingly well in the last 6 months since IPL 2020, SRH seem to have got their balance back.

"It is great that Bhuvi is back. He has had a fantastic series against England. We have a lot of depth in bowling and firepower in batting,” the skipper said.

With no team having home advantage, SRH are slated to play a lot of their matches in Chennai and Delhi, and Warner said that this will suit their team.

"We are playing in Chennai in Delhi in our first 8 or 9 games. The wickets there will be tad slow which will suit our style of play," Warner said.

Good to be out of quarantine, says Warner

Warner, who has just recently come out of the seven-day mandatory quarantine said that he looks forward to playing a full season with the SRH.

"It's good to be out of quarantine. Feels that the last IPL was just a few days back. I am not thinking of any new things but will just focus on the simple things and use my experience and bowl my variations, like that.

"I was not there for almost the whole IPL last year and looking forward to play the whole season this time and hopefully contribute for the team,” Warner added.

SRH will start their IPL 2021 campaign against the Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday.
