He is a worshiper of nature and can be seen worshiping in his villages in the Jhabar (holy garden). When a Santhal dies, his bones are immersed in the Damodar river itself. 50,000 people from 400 villages had declared the war against the British, the first battle of independence against the British is believed to be in the year 1857 But the Santhal tribe of Jharkhand raised the flag of rebellion against the British in 1855 itself. This is called Santhal Hul. Hul in Santhali language means rebellion. On 30 June 1855, the rebellion started from Bhannadih village in Sahibganj district under the leadership of Sidhu and Kanhu. More than 50,000 people from 400 villages reached Bholanadih village and announced the war. Here, the Santhals led by tribal brother Sidhu-Kanhu, along with not giving goods, announced the British and announced the British, fearfully, the British started stopping the rebels.
