The Himachal government is waiting for the loan to be sanctioned from the National Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (NABARD) for road and bridge projects. The Public Works Department (PWD) has sent 254 DPR worth Rs 1744 crore to NABARD. This proposal of loan has been sent for FY 2022-23. In the meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary in the past, there is also a quick approval of loans for these projects from NABARD and budget for large number of roads and bridges in the current financial year Has been requested to give. In the election year, the government wants to put more and more projects. The 310 crore project planning department is pending with 24 DPR planning department worth Rs 310 crore. Overall, PWD has made 278 DPR worth Rs 2054 crore. NABARD usually gives loans worth more than Rs 350 crore every year for road and bridge projects. The government involved in priority projects and meets MLAs every year and asks for priorities from them. The PWD department prepares DPR and sends the planning department for approval. After this, the DPR is sent to NABARD for the budget. NABARD approves roads and bridges project at its level. Waiting for approval to the project: Gupta PWD chief engineer Ajay Gupta said that the department has sent more than 2000 DPR and sent NABARD and Planning.
