Heritage Special train left for Champaran from Muzaffarpur Junction on Saturday morning. During this time the train was decorated. According to the information, on completion of 75 years of independence, Heritage Special Exhibition Train from Muzaffarpur to Bettiah will run. The exhibition train of seven coaches includes memories associated with Mahatma Gandhi's visit to Champaran. During the freedom movement, the artifacts related to the importance of Tirhut and Champaran will also be in this train. Heritage special trains will introduce people to the historic moment of independence. On the request of local farmers, the new generation will know about the memories related to Mahatma Gandhi's stay in Champaran. The Indian freedom struggle will be aware of the beginning of the use of non -violence and Satyagraha. After leaving from Muzaffarpur, the train will reach Bettiah via Motipur, Mehsi, Chakia, Motihari and Sugauli. Virendra Kumar, CPRO of East Central Railway, said that the freedom train and iconic week related to the station have started to commemorate the Amrit Mahotsav of independence.
