Electricity is good news for consumers of Uttar Pradesh. Because from today, new electricity rates will be implemented from night. The special thing is that the electricity bills of domestic consumers using less than 100 and more than 500 units can decrease. It is being told that the electricity bill of about ten percent can be reduced. The UP government has given great relief to consumers by releasing new electricity rates. Because the state government has abolished the slab of 7 rupees. Along with this, after the decision of the UP Electricity Regulatory Commission, the poor 1.20 lakh electricity consumers of the state will also get benefit.

After the decision of the state government, now the slab of seven rupees per unit has been abolished. The maximum domestic electricity rate in the state will now be Rs 6.50 per unit. According to the new rates, a maximum rate of Rs 6.50 will be charged to spend more than 300 units of electricity. Whereas from those who consume electricity from 151 to 300 units will be charged Rs 6 per unit. Apart from this, a bill will be charged at the rate of Rs 5 per unit from those spending 101 to 150 units. Domestic BPL electricity will be available at the rate of Rs 3 per unit.

UP Electricity Regulatory Commission has given great relief to 1.20 crore poor consumers of the state and first took electricity bill from these consumers at the rate of Rs 3.35 used to go. But now this slab has been reduced to 3 rupees. However, the rule for this is that electricity will consume less than 100 units.
