Due to monsoon rains and clouds, the water level of the rivers originating from the hills of Uttarakhand has increased. Ganga, Yamuna and Ghaghra may soon cross the warning level. Meteorologist Prof. Manoj Kumar Srivastava says that Uttarakhand may receive heavy rain for 3 days. Therefore, the water level is set to increase. Water police and officials have increased patrolling in Hidayatwaranasi for not doing nait boating. After the evening Aarti, it is being advised not to boat in the Ganges.
