Flood -like conditions have been created in the village Darvesh under the district Kapurthala and sub -division Fagwara in Punjab. Due to continuous rains for the last two days, the water of the nearby villages has gathered in the body. Now the fields of the village have become ponds. After so much water has come in the village, the administration has lost sleep. Administrative officials and other departments also reached the officers to take stock of the loss in the village darvesh. Due to the filling of rain water in the village, the crop spread over several acres has deteriorated. The villagers said that 200 to 250 hundred acres of crops have been destroyed. Many animals have also died by drowning in water. Due to the high flow of water in the canal of Nakodar town of Jalandhar, the water has come on the road. This has caused problems for light people. The edges are being elevated with mud by the activists of administration and social service organizations in the village with the help of JCB. The road has been made for water by breaking the main road of the village, so that the level of water logging can be reduced. The people of the village asked the administrative officials to drain the water by putting a pump. He also said that due to sudden water coming in the village, compensation of people's crops, livestock and houses should be compensated. The way flood situation has been created in the village, people have suffered a lot of damage. The administrative officials said that arrangements are being made to remove the water. The damage caused by the floods of the people will be assessed. Whatever damage has been done, the report will be sent to the District Collector and whatever appropriate compensation will be given.
