There was heavy firing between terrorists and security forces on the Indo-Myanmar border in two different states of Northeast India. The incident occurred a few days after the call for the boycott of Independence Day by terrorist groups in the Northeast. Security forces and terrorists face to face first near Pangsau Pass in Arunachal Pradesh. While the second incident of firing took place in Nokalak district of Nagaland. The government said in a statement that the terrorists fired on the soldiers of Assam Rifles from across the Indo-Myanmar border in Tirp Changlang area on Tuesday morning.

sources said that 'National Socialist Council of Nagaland' (NSCN -Kya) And a group of militants of 'United Liberation Frant of Assam' (ULFA-I) attacked the Assam Rifles Camp. The militants used rocket -powered grenades and Lathod bombs to attack the camp. After which the soldiers of Assam Rifles retaliated and fired on the militants. A source said that there is no news of anyone being killed in this firing incident.
