The election of the District Panchayat President is to be held on July 29 after the results of the three -tier panchayat elections. Due to which there is a mohaul of Gahagami in the political corridors. While the BJP is trying to capture the Zilla Panchayat, the Congress is also putting full emphasis. On behalf of BJP, Geeta Raghuvanshi and Congress have nominated Parvati Gaganendra Raghuvanshi as the candidate for the post of District Panchayat President. Naina Devi was being described as the candidate of the District Panchayat President from the Congress only after the District Panchayat election results. The names of Geeta Raghuvanshi and Gayatri Raghuvanshi were revealed by the BJP. No one name could be agreed till Thursday. Mukesh Tandon, the secretary of the state executive committee, said that Geeta Raghuvanshi is a BJP candidate and will come to the BJP's account on the post of District Panchayat President. The Congress has changed his district panchayat president candidate to Parvati Gaganendra Raghuvanshi at the last moment. It has won from ward 18. The election of the District Panchayat President was stuck in the election, now it is not easy for the BJP to make the District Panchayat President. Till now it was believed that BJP would become the president but the Congress changed the candidate at the last minute to fail all the equations of the BJP. Now this election is Raghuvanshi, the candidate of both the party. Both the candidates have submitted their nomination.
