In Chhapra, a laborer died due to drowning in the Ganges river. The incident is being reported of Hasilpur Ghat of Nayagaon police station area. The body was recovered on Friday evening after hard work by the local diver. The deceased has been identified as Shatrughan Mahato (28 years) father Bindeshwar Mahato, a resident of Saidpur village of Sonpur Pahlaja Ghat OP police station area. After receiving the body, there was a scream in the family. The young man used to work as a laborer on a boat running in the Ganges river. After the death of the only earning member of the family, the mountain of Gamo has been broken on the family members. Regarding the incident, the local people said that all the boats running in the Ganges were gathering on the ghat in the morning and all the laborers were cooking food. Then a sudden fire was caught in the gas cylinder. To avoid the fire, the workers jumped into the Ganges river by boat. In an atmosphere of chaos, the deceased died after drowning after coming under the boat. The body was recovered on Friday evening after the body was selected from the morning. Due to the increase in water in the Ganga river, there was a problem in finding the dead body. The body was recovered after much effort.
