Cockar implant operation is proving to be a boon for children unable to hear from birth. This operation of lakhs of rupees is going on free under the Central Government scheme. The operation of 150 children has been free in a private hospital in Talwandi, Kota. ENT Specialist Dr. Vikrant Mathur said that 150 children have been added to the mainstream of society so far by the cookier implant operation of children unable to hear from birth under the ADIP program. The cookier implant operation is proving to be a boon, but this feature is out of the reach of the common man due to this device being quite expensive. This entire implant costs about 10 lakh rupees. But this free operation is being done under the Center's plan. All such children whose age is under 5 years and whose parents are less than 15 thousand, they can operate under this scheme. It is an artificial device in which one part is planted in the interiors (coacular) of the ear by the operation and one part is placed behind the ear. Cockar implant is useful for children who listen very little and which are not heard well in the hearing machine. The hearing machine only generates sound energy in the ears, but the cochlear implant provides electrical stimulation to the ear hearing nerve. So that children can easily hear things. There is also the therapy of children after the operation. Copyright © 2022-23 DB corp ltd., All rights reservedthis website follows the dnpa code of ethics.
