On July 18, BJYM demonstrated in Kurud, demanding unemployment allowance to the youth. The effigy of Minister Kavasi Lakhma was burnt in the SDM office complex. On the second day of the protest, on July 19, Tehsildar TS Khare gave a written complaint to the police station. After this, BJYM leaders, activists took out a rally against the state government.
