The river drains are in spate due to over average rains in Jhalawar district. On Thursday, an elderly man, including a bike, was swept away in a strong current while crossing the culvert of the Amajhar river in Mashalpura in Mandawar police station area. A rescue campaign was started for this, but the elderly did not find any clue on the second day on Friday. Bike rider was coming from Mashalpura to Jhilhara village. Mandavar Thanadikari Sharif Ahmed said that a search operation was conducted with the help of SDRF, police and villagers on Thursday evening after the Mandawar police of Jhalawar district got information about the flow of Bhimraj Erwal (60), on Thursday evening, But he was not found till night. After this, on Friday morning, the team conducted a rescue operation in the river area and searched for the bike rider, but it was not found. According to the villagers, about one and a half feet of water was flowing on the culvert with strong flow. Meanwhile, Bhimraj took a bike and landed on the culvert in a hurry to go to his village Jhilra. The bike slipped as soon as he went away. With this, Bhimraj was swept away in the fast flow. However, Bhimraj and the bike have not been found anywhere on the second day. SDRF and police teams are engaged to find this.
