The case of land acquisition is complicated in Majha regarding the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway project. Gurdaspur and Tarn Taran are following due to lack of consensus between farmers and administration regarding the rate of land. Only 4 per cent in Gurdaspur, 9 per cent of land in Tarn Taran could be handed over to National Highway Authority of India. The highest number of land till Zulai mid -mid Has been handed over to 47 thousand crore is to be spent on this project. In the 13 days of Zulai, 465 hectares of land has been captured and assigned to the NHIA under the land acquisition of 465 hectares of land under the land acquisition by the administration in 13 days of July itself. . The first quarter of this year was acquired from January to 31 March 220 hectares of land. In the second quarter, 1777 hectares of land was occupied from 1 April to June. At the same time, only 35 hectares of land could be occupied by December last year. By mid -July this year, 2497 hectares of land has been occupied. In Taran Taran and Gurdaspur, the project has been found to be very low as per the project requirement. At the same time, the owner of the land is going to the arbitrator.
