92 -year -old Reena Chhibber finally reached Rawalpindi, Pakistan after keeping the pain of partition and leaving her home in heart for 75 years. All the memories were refreshed in a single moment as if it was yesterday. When Reena reached her ancestral residence Prem House in the Prem Gali of Rawalpindi, who lives in Pune, her neighbors welcomed her by playing drums. Reena's eyes filled. It was the same as before. The same house, street, chowk and chaubara. Prem Gali was named after his father Prem Chand. As Reena entered her ancestral house, decades old memories were refreshed. When she reached the balcony of the house, she started humming- these streets have to come here, come here again. Neighbors fed Reena to Rawalpindi's famous goals and samosa-chaat. Reena said that she still remembers everything about her friends Fatima and Abida, how they used to spend time on the roof in the evening. Reena also went to her modern school in Rawalpindi, from where she passed the tenth examination. As soon as Mumtaz Bibi, 65, who lives near Reena's house, came to know that some guests were coming from India, they immediately came to the spot. Reena says that the culture of both countries is one. The youth of India and Pakistan should increase dialogue with each other. People who think of division are no longer in this world. That thinking is over. We should start new now. I have got love and belonging to the people of Pakistan, I can never forget it. Reena says she has come alone in Pakistan, but will take memories from here. She will also go to Murri Hill Station to fresh childhood memories. When Betti Sonali showed the video of Rawalpindi, Lirina Chhibber told that daughter Sonali showed her a video of Rawalpindi, posted by Pakistan journalist Sajjad Haider on YouTube. Reena recognized her home in the video. Reena said that she got a visa with the cooperation of Hyder. According to Haider, the Minister of State for Foreign External Affairs Hina Rabbani released a special visa to Reena.
