Bahraich Roadways will be named Raja Balabhadra Singh: Officials approved in the meeting; Sports Hall will be known as Swatantanta fighter Bhagwadin Mishra

DM Dr. Dinesh Chandra held a meeting in Bahraich Collectorate Auditorium on Saturday. The meeting discussed the naming of multipurpose sports hall and roadways bus stands at Indira Stadium. MLC Dr. Pragya Tripathi, Payagpur MLA Subhash Tripathi and Balha MLA Saroj Sonkar were also present. In the meeting, it was decided to name the Krida Hall after Swatantanta fighter Pt. Bhagwadin Mishra Vaidya. Bhagwadin Mishra was a resident of Brahmanipura. Who played a leading role in the Satyagraha movement of independence from 1930 to 1942. Similarly, Roadways Bus Stand Bahraich was named after Raja Balabhadra Singh. Balbhadra Singh was a resident of village Murauwa Tehsil Mahsi. In 1858, he was martyred with about 600 soldiers in Chalari, while fighting the British commander Hopagrant in Ubari Village (Barabanki) under the leadership of Begum Hazrat Mahal.
