Three people have been reported dead due to lightning in Azamgarh district. Due to continuous rains in the district for two days, people are engaged in their farming. In such a situation, three families died due to lightning. Priyanka, daughter of Tekasu Rajbhar, was planting paddy in the field with her sister Priya in Sarai Khursu village of Devgaon area of ​​the district. In the midst of rain, lightning fell with a loud voice. In the second moment, people ran to hear the sound of shouts from the fields. Priyanka died on the spot, while Priya was groaning in the field in critical condition due to scorching. People working in the fields admitted him to the Community Health Center in Lalganj. Akash Kumar died after being hit by celestial lightning in Habatpur Duabhav village under Tarwan. Akash was going to deliver paddy nursery for the ongoing transplanting in the field. When lightning fell with a loud voice, people ran towards him in the fear of untoward, where he was unconscious. The people working in the adjacent fields reached Lalganj CHC with the sky, where they were declared dead. Anita, Manisha, Sonu and Renu were partially scorched due to lightning in Sarai Khursu village. A young man was killed in Budhanpur due to lightning, falling lightning in Bodhanpur, while a young woman was scorched. Anuj Kumar was transplanting paddy in the afternoon that he died on the spot due to lightning. He was younger among the two brothers and was preparing for army recruitment. In Budhanpur itself, Kiran was also planting paddy that he was badly scorched due to lightning. He was admitted to the Community Health Center Ranipur, from where the doctor referred to the district hospital after seeing the condition critical. At the same time, the house of Virendra Tyagi, a resident of Haraiya village of Jeanpur Kotwali, lost about two lakh rupees due to lightning on Thursday night. Due to the vibration in the house for some time, all the family members got up and lurked in a room. The railing on both sides of the roof broke and fell to the ground.
