In the murder case, SP Ashish Bharti of Sasaram district of Bihar was not able to appear in the court. In -charge SP appeared in court in his place, the ADJ Court kept judicial custody for five hours. When in -charge SP cum Headquarters DSP Saroj Kumar Sah applied to the SP on the next date of the case to present it in the court, then he got permission to go out of the court room somewhere. The court ordered the SP to appear in every situation by 24 October. The court said that on the orders of the High Court, the case is to be executed within three months. . Ramanuj Singh alias Chedi Singh was shot dead in Atmiganj village of Nasariganj police station area. This incident of murder caused a stir in the area. On 18 September 1979, a case of murder was registered against 6 accused on the Tahrir of the family of Ramanuj Singh. The hearing of the case was going on in the court. Four of the six accused died at the time of hearing, but no decision could be taken.

Two accused Ram Niwas Singh and Laxmi Narayan Master are still alive, but due to lack of attendance in court The hearing was pending. Since the Patna High Court was monitoring the case. Therefore, there was also pressure on the Sessions Court to hear soon. The High Court had asked the session court to abolish the case within three months on April 7 this year. On the orders of the High Court, the court of ADJ Sasaram Manoj Kumar ordered arrest warrant and attachment against both the accused Ram Niwas Singh and Laxmi Narayan Master, but the police did not take any action.
