More than 55 cows died in Gaushala in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, while more than 50 animals are in critical condition and are being treated. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has taken cognizance of this incident and ordered strict action on it. CM Yogi has asked Additional Chief Secretary Livestock, Director Livestock and Mandalayukta to investigate the incident and submit the report. Along with this, he has asked the state's Livestock Minister to reach the spot immediately and inspect the situation. According to the information, there were a total of 188 animals in the big gaushala of Santhalpur village of Gangeshwari, the development block of Hasanpur tehsil of Amroha. . Here, Tahir, a resident of Saharanpur, supplied fodder and on Thursday morning, the employees of the cowshed cut green fodder and put the animals. After eating the fodder, the condition of the animals started deteriorating and by late evening more than 55 animals had died. While the number of seriously ill animals is said to be more than 50 and they are being treated. The Chief Minister has also given instructions for proper treatment of sick cows and said that the culprits of the incident will not be spared. A report has been lodged against Tahir, who supplied fodder in this case.
