In Azamgarh, officials of the Education Department have been doing surprise inspection of schools for two consecutive days. 52 teachers were found absent in two days of inspection, although these teachers have been instructed to deduct one day's salary. The department has been started in the ongoing weekly inspection campaign to make 100 percent attendance of primary students of the district. In the supervision, 4 schools found in Bandbasic Education Officer Atul Singh and Block Education Officers are continuously inspecting. In this inspection, four schools were found closed till 8 am. On which the BSA suspended the principals of these schools. The team of BSA, Block Education Officer and Coordinators are investigating the system as well as the presence of teachers and students on schools every day. 75 schools have been inspected till now. 52 teachers have been found absent in this. The absentee teachers have been directed to stop one day's salary. The number of council schools in the district of 2703 districts said that there are 2703 council schools in the district. In which 11,114 teachers, 2,975 Shikshamitra and 825 instructors teach children. The attendance of children in schools is also getting less. BSA Atul Kumar Singh said that a team of Block Education Officer and Coordinator has been formed for the inspection of schools. The presence of teachers and children, mid -day meal, dyeing painting of schools, cleaning etc. are being tested in the schools. The BSA says that this inspection will continue continuously.
