325 kg churapost recovered in Ludhiana: FIR lodged under NDPS Act on 3 truck drivers and 1 shopkeeper.

Police have arrested 4 people in different cases in Punjab city of Ludhiana. Police have recovered 325 kg of churposty from the accused. The accused have also been selling liquor from outside states. Police arrested them by registering a case against three truck drivers and a Kariana shopkeeper in two separate cases. Kamalpreet Singh alias Kamal, resident of Majara village of Sahnewal, Gagandeep alias Lali, resident of village Shankar of Dehl, Gagandeep alias Lali. , Mandeep Singh alias Deep village Sahni and Surinder Singh Chhinda have been in the form of Vijay Nagar. The accused Gagandeep Kariana is a businessman, while the rest of the accused is a truck driver. A case has been registered against the four under the NDPS Act. Police Commissioner Kaustubh Sharma said that CIA-2 arrested Kamalpreet Singh alias Kamal from the Dahl bypass during special checking. On searching, 45 kg of churposty was recovered from the truck. During interrogation, the accused revealed that he had sold 100 kg of Churpost Gagandeep a few weeks ago. On this information, the police arrested Gagandeep and recovered 80 kg of churpost from his possession. In another case, the CIA-1 police arrested Mandeep Singh alias Deep and Surinder Singh Chhinda and recovered 125 kg of churpost from their possession. Police arrested the accused on Gill Road near Marado Police Outpost during special checking. A case has been registered against the accused under sections 15, 29, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act.
