The first innings of REET was held from 10 am to 12.30 pm on Saturday at 19 examination centers at Karauli district headquarters. Tight security arrangements have been made at all centers for this examination to be held in 4 innings for 2 days. On July 23, 9 thousand 920 candidates are allotted for the examination of both innings in Karauli. Candidates and their families started reaching outside the examination centers from 7 o'clock from 7 am to the examination center till 9 am. Candidates were given entry in the center. During this time, policemen admitted to the center after checking at the gate. During this time, women were opened outside the dupattas, jewelry, mangalsutra and slippers center, while the candidates who were wearing the entire arm shirt were given admission in the center. Arrived and instructed the employees and officials to conduct the examination with vigilance and alertness. During this time, strict security of the police was seen at all the centers. On the other hand, before the examination started, the police detained 2 suspected youths roaming behind the government college. The reasons for the detention of these youths are yet to be ascertained. No one was allowed to enter the examination center after 9 pm, but the rules at the center of the state PG college were seen to be disregarded. Here 8 to 10 candidates were given admission at the center till 15 minutes after the scheduled time. However, 3-4 candidates who reached the center after this were not given admission. Candidates who arrived late at Eklavya College, Government College and Senior Secondary School were seen pleading with police and administrative officials to get admission. If the student who arrived late in Eklavya College did not get the entry, then she started crying loudly.
