164 cow dynasty infected in Hingonia Gaushala in Jaipur: Disease spread in 20 districts, more than 4 thousand deaths so far

Lampi virus has now spread to cow-buffaloes in 17 districts of Rajasthan. 4296 cow dynasty has died. The virus has now spread to 7 more districts from 10 districts of western Rajasthan. These include the capital Jaipur district as well as Ajmer, Udaipur, Kuchaman City (Animal Husbandry District), Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Churu. Animal Husbandry Minister Lalchand Kataria has instructed to ban the transportation of animals for the next 1 month. Also, a report has been sought from all the district collector considering banning animal fairs in the affected districts. It is believed that orders may be issued soon.

Here, this infected disease has spread to Hingonia Gaushala in Jaipur. 164 cows at Hingonia Gaushala in Jaipur are infected with Lampi virus disease. Whereas in the government records, a total of 282 cows and cow dynasty are said to be infected in Jaipur district. Of these, 9 have died. 236 is being treated, 108 cow dynasty has been recovered.

22393 animal infected in Ganganagar, according to government survey records in Moutrajsthan of 840, 94 thousand 358 animals affected by lumpy skin disease so far ( Cow-buffaloes) have been traced. Among them, Catal has 90 percent of cow dynasty. 74 thousand 118 animals are being treated. So far, 36 thousand 553 cow dynasty has been recovered. Ganganagar district is the most affected by Lampi disease where 22 thousand 393 animals have been found infected. 840 has died. 11 thousand 785 animals have been found infected in Barmer and 830 have died. 10 thousand 212 infected animals have been found in Jodhpur, while 730 deaths have been recorded. 10 thousand 663 animals have also been found infected in Jalore. Of these, 580 have died. Out of 10 thousand 12 infected cow dynasties in Bikaner, 727 have died.

7107 cow dynasty has been found in Jaisalmer, 231 have died. Pali has killed 60 out of 2470 infected animals. Out of 4607 infected in Kuchaman City, 187 died. While 90 infected cow dynasties out of 2388 have died in Nagaur. 36 out of 1037 in Sirohi, 33 out of 4590 in Churu, 53 out of 2806 in Hanumangarh, 41 out of 903 in Ajmer, 90 out of 2388 in Nagaur, 1 out of 76 in Sikar, 1 out of 23 in Jhunjhunu, Udaipur 47 out of 3004 and 9 out of 282 cow dynasty in Jaipur have been recorded. While issuing an appeal to the cattle rearers, he said- If a cow-buffalo dies due to lumpy, do not leave it in the open at all. Dig the deep pit and bury it. Whatever things and places have come in contact with that infected animal, disinfect them. Animals in which boils are taking place. Mix 90 ml glycerin, 10 ml povidin and a little turmeric and apply it on the boils. So they will recover quickly. Keep cleaning the animal farm. Separate the sick animal. Do not allow the movement of other animals and outsiders there.

Dr. Dharm Singh Meena asked for the general public-many people are concerned about using the milk of sick animals. Use milk only by boiling. The virus also dies at 37 degree centigrade. So do not fear animal products, milk products at all. Western and dairy milk is safe. Heat the milk taken from farmers or cattle ranchers.
