Police have caught 15 boxes of illicit liquor from a luxury car in Surkhi police station area in Sagar. The accused car driver ran away breaking the police barricading. When chased, he escaped by throwing liquor boxes on the roadside. In the case, the police seized liquor and registered a case against the car driver. According to the police, it was reported from the informer that liquor is being transported illegally in car number mp15cb1615. The car is coming from Sagar. Which contains large amounts of illicit liquor. As soon as the information was received, the team of Dhana Police Outpost left for action. Barricading was done on the road at Hilgan Tiraha. After some time, the Artica car was seen coming. Which was stopped. But the driver left the barricading at a high speed.

In the case, the police have registered a case under the Excise Act against the car driver and took it under investigation.
